Heather Christie-Burns

President and CEO

Heather is a Professional Engineer with 20 years of experience in Western Canada in the oil and gas industry, where she has held comprehensive roles in operations, reservoir, and commercial engineering applications.  Heather was a co-founder of Angle Energy Inc. in 2004, and held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at Angle’s sale in December of 2013.  Previously, Heather held senior engineering roles at Bear Creek Energy, Crossfield Gas, Encal Energy, Fekete Associates, and Norcen Energy.  Heather earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary.  She is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

D. Gregg Fischbuch

Director

Gregg is a Professional Engineer with 32 years of experience in engineering and geoscience in Western Canada.  Gregg has worked his career as a geologist, and has a proven track record as a finder of commercial hydrocarbon accumulations.  He was a co-founder of Angle Energy in 2004, and held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Angle’s sale in December of 2013.  Prior to Angle Energy, Gregg held senior executive roles at Brooklyn Energy, Crossfield Gas, and Trigas Exploration, and was a founder at both Crossfield Gas and Trigas Exploration.  Prior to Trigas, Gregg was a geologist at Hillcrest Resources, Truax, and Predeco.  He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

Rich Aube

Richard Aube is a Managing Director at Pine Brook Partners and is responsible for managing Pine Brook’s energy investing activities. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Aube currently represents Pine Brook as a Director of Brigham Resources, LLC, Elevation Resources Holdings, LLC, Saguaro Resources Ltd., and Stonegate Production Company, LLC.

Mr. Aube has 24 years of experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Aube was with D.E. Shaw & Company, a multi-strategy global investment firm, where he was a Managing Director responsible for co-managing the firm’s North American private equity effort. Previously, Mr. Aube was a partner with J.P. Morgan Partners, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm affiliated with JPMorgan Chase, where he focused on growth equity and buyout investments in the energy and industrial sectors. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner with the Beacon Group, an investment and advisory firm. Mr. Aube has served on the Boards of several energy companies, including Bill Barrett Corp., Latigo Petroleum, Capstone Turbine Corp., FirstWind Corp., and Proton Energy Systems.

Mr. Aube holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Economics from Dartmouth College.

Andre Burba

Andre Burba is a Managing Director on the energy investment team at Pine Brook Partners. He is responsible for Pine Brook’s investment activities in Canada and is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Burba represents Pine Brook as a Director of Saguaro Resources Ltd. and is also involved in Forge Energy LLC, Common Resources LLC, Common Resources II, LLC, Common Resources III, LLC, and Phoenix Exploration Company, LP.

Mr. Burba has over 14 years of experience in the energy sector as a principal investor, investment banker and project finance counsel. Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Burba was with Credit Suisse, where he was a Principal Investor in the Special Opportunities Group and was responsible for investments in energy, metals and mining, renewables, and oil and gas. Prior to joining the Special Opportunities Group, Mr. Burba was an investment banker in the Energy Group at Credit Suisse, where he advised energy companies in multiple project finance transactions and closed nearly $3 billion in debt and equity capital raises for power, oil and gas, and renewable energy companies. He began his career as a Project Finance Counsel at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, representing energy companies and investors in a variety of domestic and cross-border capital raises, acquisitions and restructurings.

Mr. Burba holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (summa cum laude) from West Virginia University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a Joint Degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was a John S. Beasley scholar. Mr. Burba is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Vanderbilt University Law School.

Ted Maa

Ted Maa is a Principal on the energy investment team at Pine Brook Partners.  Mr. Maa represents Pine Brook as a Director of Comet Ridge Resources, LLC, Elevation Resources Holdings LLC, and Saguaro Resources Ltd.

Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Maa was a Vice President at Denham Capital Management, LP, where he specialized in energy infrastructure and oilfield services investment opportunities.   Prior to that, Mr. Maa was an Analyst in the Global Investment Research Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co, where he focused on energy master limited partnerships.  Earlier in his career, he spent two years with Apache Corporation as an Analyst in the Strategic Planning Group.

Mr. Maa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Texas and a Masters of Business Administration from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Ian Fergusson, CA, CFA

Mr. Fergusson joined Camcor in 1998.  Prior to joining Camcor, Mr. Fergusson was employed with an international chartered accountancy firm for four years in Canada and Australia working in the areas of taxation and audit.  Mr. Fergusson currently represents Camcor interests on numerous boards of directors related to Camcor Fund investments.

Andrew Judson, MBA

Mr. Judson joined Camcor in 2013.  Prior to joining Camcor, Mr. Judson was a Managing Director with an energy focused boutique Investment Dealer, with offices in Calgary and London, helping lead the Capital Markets group. Mr. Judson was responsible for covering some of the largest institutional investors in Canada, the United States and Europe, advising on their energy related investments. Mr. Judson will represent Camcor interests on the boards of directors related to Camcor Fund investments.
